She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Ribby and Mildred Ribby (Linhart); her husband Ervern Nekola; her brothers, Gene and Tom; and her pet Smoky.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Tisue (Dave) of Elberon and Dan Nekola of Elberon; her grandchildren, Dayna Struve, Deedre Davidson, Clinton and Chloe Nekola; her great grandchildren, Cole, Brayden, Parker, Easton, Bailey, Dom, Ryan and Kaiven; and her great great grandchild Oaklee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service (1704 7th Ave, Belle Plaine, IA 52208). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
