With sadness, we share the passing of Charles E. Diehl of Eldora, Iowa. Charles, born on February 13, 1944, passed away on June 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Diehl (Waldo) and Homer Eugene Diehl; his stepfather Dr. Colin Gould; his brother Dr. Craig Diehl; and his granddaughter Sarah Mae Diehl.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Diehl (Joanne), Darren Diehl (Dawn) and Cindy Yang (Al); his grandchildren, Olivia Lawrence (Andrew), Julia Mislivec (Connor), Seth Diehl (Lauren), Sam Diehl, Cade Diehl, Marika Yang (Erik) and Justine Yang; and his wife Lois Irene Haupt. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, great-grands, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Memorials may be sent directly to the Eldora Lions Club and the Iowa chapter of the Alzheimer's Association or to the family who will distribute funds to them.
