We announce the death of David Dale Hartman of Eldora, Iowa, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 86. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hartman and Dena Hartman (DeVries); his brother Jim Hartman; and his son-in-law Scott Beaty. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Brower; his daughters, Michelle Hartman, Melissa Jones (Jeff) and Misty Beaty; and his grandchildren, Dr. Jordan Appel, Stephanie Appel and Briggs Beaty.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Steamboat Rock Baptist Church (107 2nd St, Steamboat Rock, IA 50672). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
