She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Muhlena and Marie Muhlena (Lamparter); her husband Maurice Schwarck; and her siblings, Rita Hammond, Lillian, Michaelson, Carolyn Muhlena and Gehrhart Muhlena.
She is survived by: her children, Deana Primus (Grant) of Janesville, IA, Gregg Schwarck of Marshalltown, IA, Brian Schwarck of Eldora, IA and Mike Schwarck of Eldora, IA; her grandchildren, Sara Behrends (Jeff Mather) of Janesville, IA and Jon Primus (Amee Harris) of Denver, IA; her great grandchildren, Annika, Zane, Mya, Addison, Tyson and Cam; and her siblings, Judy McCoy of Burlington, IA, David Muhlena (Pat) of Union, IA, Kenny Muhlena (Cindy) of Dunbar, IA and Paul Schwarck (Catherine) of Marshalltown, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
