He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Benson and Hazel Benson (Fleenor); and his grandson Dylan Debruyn. He is survived by: his wife Marj; his children, Heather Doyle (John), Candace Benson, Tracie Akers (David), Chris Simon and Jeff Stephenson; and his siblings, Pat Christenson (Terry), Dennis Benson (Joanie), Connie Winkel (Bill) and Bruce Benson (Angie). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
