It is with sadness that the passing of James J. Roling of Eldora, Iowa is shared. James, born on May 21, 1946, passed away on October 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Ted" Roling and Helen Roling (Dole); his brother Dennis Roling; and his brother-in-law Jim Tazzioli. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Rash; his children, Sean Roling (DeAnn) of Eldora and Jami Kendall (Brian) of Eldora; his grandchildren, Logan, Kaleb, Jenna Roling, Brianna and Tyler Kendall; his great grandchild Milo Kendall; his siblings, Judy Gunderson (Robert) of Gifford, Linda Tazzioli of West Des Moines, Jerry Roling (Marti) of Cedar Falls, Teresa Roling of Marshalltown, Peg Landmesser (Tom) of Henderson, NE and Mark Roling (Adela) of Knightdale, NC; and his sister-in-law Pat Roling.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (614 Washington St, Eldora, IA 50627). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
