He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Williams and Molly Williams (Shook). He is survived by: his wife Pamela S. Brooks; his children, Carrie Piazza (Michael) of Princeton, Iowa and Andrew Williams (Wendy) of Blue Grass, Iowa; his grandchildren, Nicholas Piazza, Nora Piazza, Payton Williams and Sawyer Williams; his brothers, Douglas Williams (Kitty) of Roswell, Dean Williams of Atlanta and Darren Williams of Lost Nation, Iowa; and his brother-in-law Richard Cole (Nancy) of Kennesaw, Georgia..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Savior Presbyterian Church of Argo, Iowa, where David was a member.
