She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Meier and Marilyn Meier; her father-in-law John D. Ploog; her brothers-in-law, Gene and Alfred; and her mother-in-law Hazel.
She is survived by: her husband John; her siblings, Raejean Nunes (Alfred), Sherryl Hoggins (Bob) and Craig Meier (Joanne); her sister-in-law Janet Lewis (Gene); her nephews, Jeff Ploog (Penny) and Jason Ploog (Rena); and her grandchildren, Zachary Ploog (Natasha), Stephanie Groen (Gregg), Lindsay Pollock (Brian), Lauren and Cara Ploog. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Park View Lutheran Church.
