He was predeceased by: his parents, John Buhl, and Viola Buhl, Sr. (Mosher); his siblings, Melvin Mosher, Russ Buhl and Valerie Irwin; and his nephew Larry Buhl.
He is survived by: his wife Kristy; his daughter Lynn Allen of Elmwood, Illinois; his stepchildren, Amber Struxness (Jason) of Woodworth and Justin Speth (Haley) of Stockton, Iowa; his grandchildren, Braden, Brooke Allen, Mason, Gavin, Cale Klocke, Kynlee, Gentry and Stetson Speth; his sister Sandy Sheckler (Mike Faichney) of Norwood, Illinois; and his sister-in-law Leslie Buhl of Peoria, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Memorials may be made to the Dixon American Legion.
