He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Panther and Mary Panther (Bailey); his brothers, Robert and Phillip; and his nephew Jimmy Panther.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Jeffers; his sons, Mark Panther (Jennifer) and Brian Panther (Rocío); his grandchildren, Alexis, Jackson, Evan, Nolan and Dylan; and his siblings, Michael Panther, Kieran Panther (Loretta), Tim Panther (Debbie) and Sally McCord. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established in John's honor.
