She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Moats and Margarette Moats (Pierce); her husband Wayne R. Swearinger of Eldridge, IA.; her siblings, Margarette Davis, Joann Moore, Wilbur "Sonny" Moats, Jerry Moats and Jesse Moats; and her son-in-law Jack Woodard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Wood (Gary) and Regina Woodard; her stepdaughter Brenda Hansen; her grandchildren, Rebekah Doering (Wesley), Dana White (Jessica), Jillian Charlson (Dave), Devin White (Crystal) and Jack Tyler Woodard; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Kennedy, Ethan, Norah, Liam, Archer, Claire, Deacon and Max; and her brother Charles "Mike" Moats.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Church (130 N 2nd St, Eldridge, IA 52748). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cornerstone Church, Eldridge, IA and Empowering Abilities (HDC), Davenport, IA.
