He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Boyle and Wilma Boyle of Elgin; and his wife Herta. He is survived by: his sons, David Boyle (Chandar) of Cedar Falls, Don Boyle (Julie) of Janesville and Joe Boyle (Tracey) of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories (965 Home Plaza, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John Lutheran Church (715 College St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Memoires Cemetery (3669 Logan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50703).
