Michael Dietz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Dietz of Elk Run Heights, Iowa, who passed away on March 25, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale I. Dietz and Jean L. Dietz (Marcy); his siblings, Charles, Clifford Johnson and Beverly Hanson; and his nephew Kippy Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalind J. Rowsell; his daughters, Mary Weigert (Gene) of Cresco, IA, Cindy Dietz of Castalia, IA and Sarah Cook (Jeremy) of Riverside, OH; and his stepsons, Derrick Patterson (Kellie) of Keystone and TJ Patterson (Janet) of Waterloo. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 23 step-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephew, and cousins.
