She is survived by: her friends, Charlotte and Emil Conrad Platte; her husband Emil Platte of Elma, IA; her children, Ed (Shirley) of Charles City, IA, Tom of Elma, IA, Nancy Morris (Dean) of New Hampton, IA and Joan Rauch (Scott) of East Peoria, IL; her son-in-law Stan Humbargar of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Andrea Palmersheim (Brian), Ben Morris (Rebecca), Kayla Sebastian (Andy), Cody Humbargar (Sarah), Aaron Platte (Ann), Blair Leier (Colten), Abby Wolf (Matt), Micah Rauch and Hannah Merriman (Donald); her great grandchildren, Addison, Anna Klein, Aria, Devin Sebastian, Hayley, Charlotte Leier, Clark and Leon Humbargar; her sister Marlys Johnson (Gary); Claudia, Ed, Tom, Nancy and Joan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hugeback & Johnson Funeral Home - Elma (508 Maple St, Elma, IA 50628). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (107 Wood St, Elma, IA 50628). A burial will be held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Howard Cemetery (18247 Garden Ave, Elma, IA 50628).
