He was predeceased by: his brother Rick Dawes; and his parents, Eugene Dawes and Barbara Bobzien (Holub). He is survived by: his wife Jolene Dawes of Ely; his daughters, Amanda Dawes (Eric), Jenna Busch (Ben) and Kelsey Dawes; his grandchildren, Caleb (Olivia), Katelyn, Avani, Kason, Fox, Wilhelm and Hanna; his siblings, Elaine Gilbert (Cecil), Ron Dawes, Gena Neal (Todd) and Lueann Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Tom and Holly Njus.
