We announce the death of Florence Soenen of Emmetsburg, Iowa, who passed away on July 26, 2026. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gerard Soenen (Jerry); her parents, Gaston Timmerman and Lena Timmerman (Dobbelaere); her children, Greg Soenen (Liz), Bob Soenen (Sue), Ken Soenen (Karen), Mary Lee Orr (Dave), Geriann Vaske (Gary) and Julie Koeppel (Jim); her brother-in-law Bob Hamerlinck; her sons, Tom and Steven; and her siblings, Leo, Bertha, Andrew, Archie and Marie. She was also cherished by 18 grandchildren, and extended family of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
