It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marvyl Guess of Emmetsburg, Iowa, born in Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, J. P. Krebs and Clara Catherine Krebs (Ortosen); her husband Tom Guess; her son Brian Guess; and her siblings, Ruth, Charlotte, Elmer, Gladys, Julius and Norma (June).

She is survived by : her children, Chris (Chuck Smith), Neil (Diane Guess), Lynn (Brad Skinner) and Deb Halvorson of Emmetsburg, Iowa; and her sister Barbara Willett (Jim). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
