We announce the death of Michael Fogarty of Emmetsburg, Iowa, who passed away on September 12, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Terrance "Ike" Fogarty and Bridget E. Fogarty; and his brothers, John and Tom. He is survived by: his sons, Robert (Melanie Dunphy) of Grimes, Matthew (Stephanie) of Madrid and Mark (Racheal) of Emmetsburg; his wife Carol Fogarty; his grandchildren, Taylor (Rosa), Aiden (Lyzz), Dillon, Hannah, Kolby, Gabe (Julianna) and Connor; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Isaac; and his siblings, Jill Hanson (Kevin) of Graettinger, Jim Fogarty (Jadeen) of Tempe, Arizona, Bill Fogarty (Tammy McDonald) of Wichita and Joe Fogarty of Jeffersonville, Indiana.. He is also survived by his sons and daughters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Martin Mattice Funeral Home (704 Grand Ave, Emmetsburg, IA 50536).
