He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Alvarenga; his stepson Danny Ramirez (Daisy Ribeiro); his granddaughter Julie Ramirez; his son Fabio Basualdo (Mavi Valentin); his siblings, Louise Ryan (Jack) of Woodbury, MN, Richard Kehr (Alice) of Spencer, IA, Jean Hilbert (Randy Petersen) of Wesley, IA, Jane Hilbert (Gary) of Britt, IA and Ann Ryan (Mike) of North Mankato, MN; his aunt Jenny Joynt; his sisters-in-law, Maria Elena A Basualdo, Maria Jacinta A Riveros and Nidia A Rodriguez; his close friends, Charles and Ursula Roberts; Barbara Kehr. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
