She was predeceased by : her parents, Erwin Bruhn and Doris Bruhn (Meyer); her siblings, Alice Klein Hinken and William Bruhn (Bill); her parents-in-law, Gustav and Florentina Dietrich; and her siblings-in-law, Karl Klein, Dick Hinken, Fred Lenz, Carl Lenz, Ernie Lenz, Wally Lenz, Eddie Lenz and Janice Bruhn.

She is survived by : her husband Paul Dietrich; her children, Paul Dietrich Jr. (Barb) of Emmetsburg, Diane Blair (Rick) and Alan Dietrich (Louanne) of Branson, Missouri; her grandchildren, Rev. Chadric Dietrich (Alyson), Matthew Dietrich (Andrea), Aaron Dietrich (Laura), Stephanie Rodriguez (Chris), John Blair (Kristi), Nathan Blair (Nicole), Levi Dietrich and Jordan Peterson (Travis); and her sister-in-law Liz Chapman of Lincoln, Nebraska. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given to Hospice of Palo Alto County and Special Olympics.
