She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Carroll and Matilda Carroll (Beck); her brother Richard "Dick" Carroll; her mother-in-law Margaret Hosch (Weber); and her siblings-in-law, Michael Kennedy, Allan Hosch, David Hosch, Ruth Schell (Louis) and Marilyn Mangino (Roy).

She is survived by : her husband Steve Hosch of Epworth; her sons, Matt Hosch (Jenna) of Lincoln, NE, Luke Hosch of Dubuque, IA. and Dr. Timothy "Tim" Hosch (Rachel) of Plum, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Zane, Evan and Cora Hosch; her siblings, Jeanne Kennedy of Woodstock, IL, Robert Carroll (Lina) of Henderson, James Carroll (Mary) of Dubuque, Alan Carroll of Brooklyn, MD, Pat Carroll of East Dubuque, IL, Joan Hosch O. S. F. of Dubuque, IA, Margie Hosch O. S. F. of Dubuque, IA, Ann Salamone (Sal) of Greenlawn, NY, Mitzie Hosch of Cascade, IA and Joan Hosch of Cascade, IA; and her close friends, Deb Connolly and Paula Parnow. She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
