He is survived by: his wife Lou Nelson of Essex, IA; his sons, Jason Nelson (Lisa) of Essex, IA, Joshua Nelson (Stacy) of Essex, IA and Justin Nelson (Anna) of Essex, IA; and his siblings, Lyle Nelson (Ina Kay) of Northboro, IA, Rick Nelson (Sharon) of Rock Port, MO, Tish Aufenkamp of Villisca, IA and Tami Nelson (Jonny) of Collins, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
