With sadness, we share the passing of David W. Porter of Essex, Iowa. David, born on February 16, 1955, passed away on August 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Virgil Porter and Dorthy Louise Hossle Porter; his parents-in-law, Johnny and Illene Resh; his brother-in-law William "Buff" Chambers; and his niece Lynn Marcelle Greenwalt.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Ann Porter; his daughters, Amanda Jo Brewster (Harvey) and Jessica Renea Saunders (Brett); his grandchildren, Lane Porter Brewster, Shea Renea Brewster, Wade Robert Brewster, Illene Marie Saunders and Clara Jo Saunders; his sisters, Carol Chambers, Joyce Portz (Mike) and Donna Greenwalt (Todd); and his siblings-in-law, Duane Resh (Kathy), Delaine (Doodle) and Connie Apperson (Doug).
