He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Head and Vivian Head (Stooker). He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Kramolisch (Lee) of Omaha; his grandsons, Brooks and Hank; his daughter Emily Milewski (Nick) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Elin, Connor and Reese; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Head of Omaha, Vivian Wanetka of Omaha, James "Jim" Head (Mary) of Des Moines and Martie Rose of Peabody, Massachusetts.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Loess Hills Funeral and Cremation Center (112 N Vine St, Glenwood, IA 51534). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
