He was predeceased by : his nephew Collin Helmers. He is survived by : his parents, Paul Heebner and Shirley Heebner (Eldridge) of Spencer; his daughter Jennifer Heebner of Spirit Lake; his close friend Diane Breaman of Estherville; and his siblings, Steve Heebner (Tami Otto) of Spirit Lake, Bryan Heebner (Becky Baker) of Estherville and Carla Helmers (Randy) of Estherville. He is also survived by two nieces, four nephews, and nine great-nieces and nephews.
