She is survived by: her husband Larry Johnson; her children, Kadee Newkirk, Heather Wilde of Sioux Falls, SD and Randy (Sara) Nissen; her grandchildren, Braylen Milstead, Gabriel, Deklan, Penelope Frodermann, William, Samuel and Rosie Nissen; her siblings, Carl Pieper (Karen) and Audra Sowles (Rod); her sister-in-law Barb Pieper; her brother Bob Metli; her siblings-in-law, Dawn Eveleth (Bruce), Ellen Youds and Steve Johnson (Barb); and her pet Dusty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel-Estherville (401 N 7th St, Estherville, IA 51334). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church - Jackson (900 N Hwy, Jackson, MN 56143).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
