He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin "Ted" Burns and Ethel Burns (Mace); his son Jeffrey; and his siblings, Alvia Coleman, Fredrick South, Florence Tigges, Mildred Christensen, June Lowenberg and Lucille Lyon.
He is survived by: his nephew Garrett; and his wife Barbara Wee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
