Dicksie left this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burge and Alma Burge (Burkhart); her husband Irvin Haukoos; her children-in-law, Angie Haukoos and Doug Johnson; her grandsons, Keith Von Hagen and Jayson Haukoos; her siblings, Ruth Burge, Richard and Donald Burge; and her half-sister Mary Burge.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Zitterich (Kevin), Gene Haukoos (Avis), Dean Haukoos (Phyllis), Marilyn Anderson (Bruce), Robert Haukoos, Christine Robinson (Eric), Sharon Johnson and Jane Hagerman; and her grandchildren, Kevin Dean, Moriah, Brandy, Candy, Peter, Jenny, Jerry, Chad, Otis, Lori, Justin, Jared, Jessica, Jill, Alanna and Mason. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel-Estherville (401 N 7th St, Estherville, IA 51334). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grandview Baptist Church (3705 170th St, Estherville, IA 51334). She was a member of Grandview Baptist Church, RSVP, and the VFW Auxiliary.
