She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Galvin and Iva Kleen (Michael); her stepfather Edgar Kleen; her daughters, Debra Cox, Denise Johnson and Doreen Spoo; her grandson Kyle VanCleave; her sister Darlene; and her parents-in-law, Otis and Violet Haukoos.
She is survived by: her children, Darla Pytleski (Michael) of Gruver, Iowa, David Haukoos (Michelle) of Sioux Falls and De Etta Koen of Estherville; and her sons-in-law, Terry Johnson and Kenneth Spoo. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grandview Baptist Church (3705 170th St, Estherville, IA 51334). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
