He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Sunde and Sylvia Sunde (Lilland). He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Sunde (Kolleen) of Fargo, ND, Jean Peterson (Reuben) of West Lafayette, IN and Connie Krosschell of Bellingham, WA; and his siblings' children, Sonia Peterson, Abby Tow (Adam), Beau Sunde (Shauna), Ben Sunde, Nathan Peterson and Rocky Krosschell (Jenna).
