He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Owen and Leander "Hanner" Bearden Woodruff; his sisters, Francis Bridgeman, Beatrice Moody and Alice Fern Barker; and his close friend Mel Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Tony and Tonya Smith (Kent); his grandchildren, Trisha Weisert (Mike), Tara Smith (Corey Frickson), Austin Goddard (Jaycie), Kody Smith (Veronica Coghlan), Ivory, Kingstin, Daxton, Adilynn, Hayes and Kobe; his sister Bonnie Welch (Donald); and his grandchild Woody. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
