She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel E. Lawless and Betty Jane Lawless (McNelly); her husband Fred Hickman; her brother Peter J. Lawless; and her sister-in-law Nancy White Lawless of Waterloo.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shellie Crisman (Ron) of Waterloo, Maria Gibson (John) of Potosi, WI. and Traci Johnson (Nate) of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Matthew (Hannah), Ray, Jerika (John), Andrew (Kari), Noah (Kayla), Mackenzi, Sarah, Kodi, Calie (Will), Logan, Jacob, Adelynn, Travis, Elliott, Levi, Calvin, Frederick, Asher and Judith; and her brothers, Skeets Lawless (Mary) of Cumming, GA and Jeff Lawless (Pam) of Waterloo.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hagerman Baptist Church (1105 Knoll Ave, Waterloo, IA 50702). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pioneer Cemetery.
Memorials will be directed to the Hagerman Baptist Church, Waterloo.
