He is survived by: his children, Tracy Gathman (Debbie) of Johnston, IA, Michael Gathman of Polk City, IA and Jodi Pottorf (Chad) of Spirit Lake, IA; his grandchildren, Christopher Gathman (Amy), Daniel Gathman (Kelsi), Zachary, Brett Gathman, Tyrell Howard, Adrienne Gathman and Shelby Wolthuis (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Ayen Gathman, Keelan Morris and Emelea Wolthuis; his siblings, Sandy Hoffman and Larry Gathman (Terri); and his sister-in-law Lori Gathman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
