With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois M Nelson of Exira, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marius Christensen and Hanna Christensen (Larsen); her husband Richard Dale Nelson; her son-in-law Ted Hansen; her brother Harvey; her sister-in-law Silva Christensen; and her nephew Jody Christensen.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Kendle (Larry) of Audubon, Donna Hansen of Audubon and David Nelson (Heather) of Exira; her brother Bernard Christensen (Barb) of Audubon; her grandchildren, T. J. Hansen of Brayton, Justin Hansen (Beth) of Exira, Chelsea Nelson (Nick Enfield) of Tontitown, AR and Chansea Nelson of Omaha, NE; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Hansen of Persia and Brey Hansen of Exira.
