She was predeceased by : her parents, Victor T. Schaefer and Stella K. Schaefer (Schares); her husband Patrick Rourke; her granddaughter Dyana Rourke; and her siblings, Lois Schares and Roman Schaefer.

She is survived by : her children, Larry Rourke (Jill) of Dunkerton, IA, Tom Rourke (Kim) of Fairbank, IA, Julie Delagardelle (Bill) of Dunkerton, IA and Jane Zangerle (Eric) of Swisher, IA; her grandchildren, Kayla Rourke (Tyler Scribner), Emily Vsetecka (Jacob), Andrew Rourke (Cassie), Kelly Rourke (Thomas Sadler), Troy Rourke, Jenna Beck (Neal), Phillip Delagardelle (Morgan), Jacey Zangerle and Ted Zangerle; her great grandchildren, Jaycee, Max, Mackenzie, Caroline, Henry, Jensen, Louis, Jayden and Brooks; her siblings, Cleola Robb (Kitty) of Raymond, IA and Thomas Schaefer (Carol) of Gilbertville, IA; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Schaefer of Gilbertville, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
