Dan Demmer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan Demmer of Fairfax, Iowa, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Kathleen "Kay" Demmer (Eilers); and his stepmother Jean. He is survived by: his father Loras Demmer of Greeley, Iowa; his daughters, Tara Nielsen (Tyler) of Brentwood and Abby Reuther (Michael) of Nolensville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Tory, Tate, Tessa, Jackson, Levi and Rosie; his brother Kevin Demmer (Doris) of Dyersville, Iowa; his nephew Brian Demmer (Lisa) of Urbandale, Iowa; and his nieces, Heidi Smith (Chris) of Ankeny and Nicole Plummer (Ryan).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hillside Community Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
