Gordon Leo Ruegsegger Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Leo Ruegsegger of Fairfax, Iowa, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Ruegsegger and Beth Ruegsegger (Miller); and his brother Marlo Ruegsegger. He is survived by: his children, Frank Ruegsegger (Sarah) and Connie Melsha (Brian); his grandchildren, Shanea Curtin (Joe), Shelby Nemec (Shawn), Rhett Patzner and Mollie Patzner (Tanner); his great grandchildren, Kole, Brynlee, Ainslee and Kipton; his sister Bonnie Swift (Bill); and his friend Donna. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be directed to the Swisher and or the Fairfax Fire Departments in his name.
