She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Kopaitich and Leah Kopaitich (Richmond); her husband Donald Berger; her sons, Troy Lawrence and Thomas Lawrence; her granddaughter Leanne Lawrence; her siblings, Dorothy Luck (Harley), Tony Kopaitich (Delores) and Douglas Wessel; Shasta and Tiffy.

She is survived by: her children, Marty Lawrence (Marge), Lisa Cole-Lawrence (Mandy) and Lawana Anderson (Jeff); and her sister-in-law Dolly Wessel. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brosh Chapel (2121 Bowling St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
