He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ernest Bird and Mary Cravens; his sister Marie Rambo; and his brother-in-law Brad Garrison. He is survived by: his former wife Trudy Rusch; his children, Katherin Bird of Mt. Pleasant, Cassandra Bird of Columbus City, Clayton Garrison of Fairfield and Lucia Kuster; and his siblings, James Cravens, Emma Welcher (Ronnie), Julie Garrison, Ronald Bird, Tammy Martinez and Elsworth Cook.
