David A. Neff Obituary

In loving memory of David A. Neff of Fairfield, Iowa, who departed this world on October 31, 2025 at the age of 77. David leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julius Cleveland and Nelle Conner Thompson Neff; his former wife Sally Rinehart Sheffield; his wife Sheri Blough (Lint); his children, Laurie Swanson (Jamie) of Bondurant, Betsy Luck (Kelly) of Oskaloosa and Scott Blough (Allison) of Sanford; and his grandchildren, Spencer, Parker Swanson, Reid and Mia Luck.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (201 N Court St, Fairfield, IA 52556). A reception will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the Carnegie Museum Foundation or Jefferson County Historical Preservation Commission.
