He is survived by: his sisters, Rosemary Hammes of Richland and Luanne Brown of Richland; his sister-in-law Judith Ward of Fairfield; and his siblings' children, Jennifer Reed, A. J. Hammes, Renee Grimm, Cristen Lykken, McKensey Bainbridge, Tyler Brown and Bud Ward, Jr..
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Behner Funeral Home & Crematory (203 S Main St, Fairfield, IA 52556). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
