She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Hinshaw and Janet Hinshaw (Trigg); her husband John Emonin; and her brother John Hinshaw. She is survived by: her daughter Lorraine Potter (Don) of Naples; her grandsons, Grant Potter of Naples, Benjamin Potter (Shaye) of Greensboro, NC, Elliot Potter of Colorado Springs, CO and Abraham Potter of Naples; her great grandchild Boaz Potter of Greensboro, NC; her siblings, Korwin Hinshaw (Judi) of Fairfield, Iowa and Sallie Hinshaw Hayes of Fairfield; and her sister-in-law Reka Hinshaw of Ankeny, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Emily's honor may be made to the Richland Friends Cemetery, Brain Injury Alliance of Iowa (BIAIA), Autism Society of Iowa (ASI) or the Christian Harness Horse Association (CHHA).
