With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gordon Leon Pilcher of Fairfield, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Pilcher and Ruth Burrows Pilcher; his siblings, Russell Pilcher, Charles Pilcher, Carol Paxton and Eva Pilcher; and his granddaughter Rena Pilcher.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Pilcher of Fairfield, IA; his children, Deon Rude (Dave), Erin Carlson (Denver) and Jerod Pilcher (Jenn); his grandchildren, Alie, Logan, Dallas, Jacob, Aspen, Josua, Evan and Lillith; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Pilcher, Betty Vealey and Larry Rippey (Cindy).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cranston Family Funeral Home - Fairfield (2805 W Burlington Ave, Fairfield, IA 52556). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Gordon's honor may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the Shriners Children's Hospital and may be mailed to 1837 Brookville Rd., Fairfield, IA 52556.
