With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Dahl of Fairfield, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Brock Dahl and Lola Johnson Dahl; his wife Melva L Frescoln; and his sister Jean DeRoma (Chick). He is survived by: his sister-in-law Ruth Riggs; his nieces and nephews, Dan DeRoma, David DeRoma, Nancy Harris, Kim DeRoma, Andrea Haldy and Joe Walker; and his close friend Aaron Burke. He is also survived by his family, his friends.
