She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold McNeese and Gladys McNeese (Barnett); and her siblings, Chuck McNeese and Ruth Norton. She is survived by: her former husband Darrell Phillips; her children, JoAnn Franklin of Cedar Rapids, Michelle Brown (Bob) of Cedar Rapids and Michael Phillips of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Matt, Marissa, Mason, Emma, Chad, Preston and Connor; her great grandchildren, Sophia and River; and her siblings, Karol Leazer of Fort Collins, Colorado and Raymond McNeese (Tish) of West Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, in care of JoAnn Franklin, 1123 1st Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405, for a bench to be erected on the Jefferson County Trail.
