He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Henry and Effie Diers (Marshall); and his brothers, Royal Fredrick Diers and Eugene Diers. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Fry; his sons, Tim Diers (Angie) and Ted Diers (Kandi); and his grandchildren, Edith, Gabby, Ruby and Adeline.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (408 N Broadway St, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the United Life Community Church (500 W Washington Ave, Fairfield, IA 52556).
A memorial has been established in his memory to the United Life Community Church.
