She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Leazer and Helen Leazer (Carper); her husband Herman "Dale" Steele; and her son John Steele. She is survived by: her former husband Harold Simmons; her son Don Steele (Debi) of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Sandra Vice (Chad), Nathan Steele (Shana), Mike Harmon (Ashley), Kyle Harmon (Ashley) and Abigail Stickels; and her brother Richard "Dick" Leazer (Lynn) of Verona, Wisconsin..
