It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael L. Campbell of Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Campbell and Madelon Campbell (Simmons); and his siblings, Keith, Anna Ruth, David, Norman, Christine, Sarah and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Cecil; his children, Rob Campbell (Samantha) of Fairfield and Michelle Campbell (Monty Nicholson) of Brighton; his grandchildren, Brent Lisk, Jordan Nicholson (Crystal), Ashley Metcalf (Logan), Britney Campbell, Breana Hardman (Curtis), Jaydan Nicholson, Tyler Cooksey, Chloe Rice (Joe) and Cade Campbell; his brother Danny Campbell of Fairfield; and his nephew Jerry Campbell.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Behner Funeral Home & Crematory (203 S Main St, Fairfield, IA 52556). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
