Steve J. Schute Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steve J. Schute of Farley, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray H. Schute and Mabel R. Schute (Coyle); and his brothers-in-law, Tom Kupensky and Norbert Hemesath. He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Schute of Farley, Suzanne Hemesath of Cedar Rapids and Sandra Kupensky of Farley; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Hemesath (Elizabeth), Timothy Hemesath, Lisa, Davel George, Jill Kovatsis (Pete), Lori Hemesath and Amy Schroeder (Chris).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Reiff Funeral Home (330 1st Ave NW, Farley, IA 52046). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (202 2nd Ave SE, Farley, IA 52046).
