With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sue Peterson of Farnhamville, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2025 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Reynolds and Joyce Reynolds; and her husband Jim Peterson. She is survived by: her sons, Ben Jensen of Smithton, IL and John Jensen of Omaha, NE; her stepsons, Joshua James (Tomoko) of New York City and Stacy Peterson (Dara) of Ames; her grandchildren, Jack Peterson, John Jensen, Lillian Jensen, Kai James, Ren James, Brittney Mattison, Brooke Cardona and Brenna Peterson; and her siblings, Dianne Kahl, Dave Reynolds (Linda) and Julie Schultz (Phil). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Palmer & Sons Funeral Home (1016 Church St, Gowrie, IA 50543). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First United Church (400 Garfield Ave, Farnhamville, IA 50538).
